Along with their benefits, neural networks do have significant drawbacks - they are vulnerable, they require a lot of data which is not always achieved by proper means, and they tend to preserve bias. We must ensure that any network we build is explainable, fair, secure and maintains privacy in order to make it a legitimate technology.
